The floor framing being replaced . There is a bit more framing here than there was originally because the plywood floor is going to get replaced with a varnished , grated floor .

It was thought that perhaps a bit of the sedan top could be salvaged . In the end it was all replaced . The real challenge here was to make sure that the wind up windows worked . If there was any twist in the framework the windows would either bind or break from the stress . Opening windshield frames were also made to provide improved ventilation in the cabin .
