I don't always decide that a boat needs a new bottom , just because it's dirty and oily . This shot shows most of the frames along the port side to be broken .

Up in the bow most of the ribs and the keel are showing signs of dry rot .

Before rolling the boat over for removal of the old bottom I drill holes beside the frames to help when cutting the bottom sections off without damaging the frames .
