The family Seabird

This is a 1954 Port Carling seabird that had been in the same family since new . I often look at old boathouses when I'm out on the lake and wonder what treasures lay inside . " Eulilie "  had been up on timbers in one of these for the past twenty years . Aside from a small repair at the chine plank on one side the boat is totally original . With a proper restoration the boat will hopefully serve the family for the next fifty years .

Seabirds were built in Port Carling Ontario . They were known as an affordable utilitarian craft . The company motto was "  Safe , Swift , Serviceable "
