The shop was cleared out , and all of the frames and stringers were rounded up . I used two wood I beams level in both directions for a strong back
The stringers were notched at precise locations to mate into matching notches in the frames .
During the assembly of the frames a temporary cross member was fastened to each frame and the center line marked on it before the frames were taken off of the mylar drawing .This common reference plane is the key to knowing where the frames will go .
