  The screw holes in the sides are plugged with plugs cut out of the corresponding plank scraps of the planks that they are going into . Not really much to do with the deck , but I thought I'd put it in here anyway .

  The sheer is planed down until it is a fair and eye sweet line with the correct bevel and the same on both sides . The inside of the side planking was sealed with four coats of clear sealer while it is easy to get at  . The sub-floor was sealed on the underside before being placed as well . In the end there will be no uncoated wood anywhere in the boat . The deck carlings have been laid out and are ready to be fitted .
