Somebody once told me that it's not a major event or catastrophe  , but a little thing that will send you over the edge . These are speaker covers being milled out of mahogany on the cnc router to replace the all too common plastic speaker grills .

The windshield and more of the hardware arrive back from the chrome shop . Installing re-chromed hardware is never as simple as taking it out of the box and bolting it on . There is inevitably a lot of fitting and filing to do where the chrome has built up too much.  On a new boat there is also a longer period of study and contemplation before turning loose the hole saw on a fresh varnish job .
