Turning it over : I normally turn boats over in the shop by hanging them in straps , lowering one side and lifting the other . Because I have a ten foot ceiling and this boat is ten feet wide I had to come up with a different approach . After moving the boat outside a framework was built off of the stringers to keep the weight off of the side frames as the boat was lifted . This is near the end of the operation . At one time the chine was twenty feet in the air , but there was no time to be taking pictures ! Safely back on the trailer !! In case you're wondering why I have the beginning and the end here , it is because I didn't have time to take any pictures of the chine swaying twenty feet in the air . |
